Lavender Heights Bed and Breakfast Fredericksburg Virginia engagement photographer
Is it really possible for 30-degree weather to actually not feel that cold?
I never thought it could be possible, but it might have actually happened this past weekend! I met up with Megan and Alex on Saturday – when it had just finished raining, was overcast, and cold. At least according to the temperature it was outside. But as we walked around we realized we weren’t really that cold! I think if there had even been the slightest of winds it would have been a totally different story!
Even though it is the middle of winter, it’s hard not to see how beautiful Lavender Heights Bed and Breakfast is in Fredericksburg! (I can’t wait to see it when it’s all in bloom this spring or summer). But Megan, Alex, and I wandered around the property to capture some photos of the two of them together. It one of my goals this year to work on using backgrounds more thoughtfully in my images. What does that really mean? I guess it means that I want to capture more of how the environment around my clients is playing a role. I do LOVE me some close up images, but I don’t want to neglect capturing those images that show my clients in the wonderful locations that they pick too. Or it’s using a background I wouldn’t normally think is ideal but changing up my lens selection to really just blur it out into a neutral textured backdrop.
So you’ll see some of those scattered throughout these highlights along with my favorite style of closer up images that really focus in on the happy couple as well! Enjoy!
