Baby on Board: Megan and Dan
{Leesburg VA Maternity Portraits}

Batteries.  Lots and lots of batteries.

I’m pretty sure that Megan and Dan will soon find that their purchase of batteries will increase significantly.  They are necessary to power all those sounds and blinking lights and features on toys designed to entertain kids but torture parents.  At least that’s what I’ve heard happens when you have children.

Megan and Dan will soon welcome their son, Grayson, into their family in just a few short weeks.  And they were kind enough to be one of the supporters of my Portrait Marathon.  (Big news and updates on that to come soon, by the way!)  They took advantage of the opportunity to get some maternity portraits taken to showcase this unique time in their lives together.  Anticipation, excited, fears, and all!  We braved windy conditions and the threat of heavy rains left over from the day before, but Megan was beaming with a glow of a mother-to-be and I thought she looked beautiful in the morning sunlight.

This was the first time I worked with clients in the quaint little Red Rocks Overlook Park near my house, and I think it’s a great spot for the rest of my Portrait Marathon families.  I hope you enjoy some of the highlights from Megan and Dan’s session.
