Early Mountain wedding Madison Virginia
She sat eager in her white silk robe and chatted by the time with her mom and friends, her eyes full of excitement. Around her lay a chaotic array of makeup, hair brushes, lunch plates, and wine glasses. It was hustle and bustle all around, but Erica sat contentedly as she readied herself to walk down the aisle later that afternoon.
Although bit later than planned, when Andrew arrived for his final preparations at Early Mountain, he was fighting a battle with nerves. He tugged at his jacket sleeves and drew in focused breaths as nervous pacing around the reception hall occupied him. He could see friends and family arriving to take their seats, and soon melodic notes the rosined bows of the string quartet filled the air. It was a clear signal that it was time.
With the setting sun warming their faces, Erica and Andrew exchanged vows in one of the most heartfelt ceremonies I’ve heard. (And I’ve heard a lot!) Laugh and tears lined the way to “I Do” and a beaming couple sealed their new marriage with not one but two kisses.
Erica and Andrew, I was so excited to help celebrate your wedding day and I hope you enjoy some of the highlights from the festivities!
