Waterford at Fair Oaks wedding Fairfax Virginia
It’s fitting that Sara and Neil planned an October wedding because the path to getting married all started around the same time.
These two were on their way to Busch Gardens for its Halloween-themed weekend. It has been an annual tradition that they went to for several years. On a Friday morning they were preparing to go again but were running late. The tickets would not print, they had to get to an ATM, and Neil was busy fiddling with things at his house. While driving down toward I-95, Neil pulled a chain out from under his shirt and held the ring in his hand. Right there, on the road, in the car he proposed! Athough that was not the original plan. He was supposed to have proposed after they rode their favorite ride, Apollo’s Chariot, together but it seems that nerves got the best of him!
Either way, however it happened, it was a memorable Halloween trip that ended up with these two walking down the aisle. Later this week they’ll celebrate their first Halloween together as husband and wife. Enjoy some of the highlights from their day!
See this kid on the left? He was king of the dance floor all night! Crazy fun dance moves because, as he said, “I just want to do the best I can out here.”
